Official Rules

1. Sponsor

The Hey Maddie Founding Creator Challenge (the "Challenge") is sponsored by Hey Maddie. Participation is subject to application approval and these Official Rules.

2. Eligibility

The Challenge is open to selected TikTok creators in the United States who are at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. Employees of Hey Maddie and immediate family members may be ineligible. Hey Maddie may limit participation to approved applicants.

3. Challenge period

Contest dates, registration deadlines, verification periods, and winner announcement times are published on the Creator Challenge page and stated in Asia/Manila unless otherwise specified. Only qualified paid signups attributed during the eligible window count toward rankings.

4. Content requirements

To be eligible for commission or prize payouts, each approved creator must publish at least one original qualifying TikTok during the challenge period. Each qualifying video must be at least 45 seconds long, include required sponsorship disclosures, go live at or after the official start time, and remain public through the verification period unless Hey Maddie approves otherwise.

Additional posts are encouraged. Rankings are based on qualified paid signups, not view count, but creators who post more than the minimum may have a better chance to drive signups than creators who post only once.

5. Qualified signups

A qualified signup is a new paying subscriber who enters through an approved creator link, completes a paid subscription, passes fraud and payment verification, remains eligible through the qualification period, and is not excluded for refunds, chargebacks, duplicate accounts, self-referrals, or rule violations.

6. Winner determination

The winner is the approved creator with the highest verified number of qualified paid signups after the verification period. If two or more creators tie for first place, the grand prize pool is split equally among them. Hey Maddie's server-side billing and attribution records control.

7. Prizes and commissions

Approved creators earn standard affiliate commission on eligible collected subscription revenue. The grand prize equals 25% of the final verified Net Launch Pool and is split equally if multiple creators tie for the highest qualified signup count. Displayed amounts are estimates until verification is complete. Payouts require valid identity, payment, and tax documentation where applicable, and compliance with the content requirements in Section 4.

8. Prohibited conduct

Creators may not use bots, fake accounts, self-referrals, cookie stuffing, misleading claims, unauthorized paid traffic, spam, or other methods that manipulate attribution or violate platform or advertising rules. Material violations may result in disqualification.

9. Disclosures

Creators must clearly and conspicuously disclose their material relationship with Hey Maddie in each relevant post, in compliance with applicable platform and advertising rules.

10. Modifications

Hey Maddie may postpone, modify, suspend, or cancel the Challenge if required by law, fraud, technical failure, or circumstances outside reasonable control, subject to applicable law and these Rules.
